Piropo Pinot Blanc 2010
A crisp and refreshing white from mountainous Argentina, showing a lovely lifted floral nose, with delicate pear and white peach fruit rounded off with a subtle peppery spice finish.
ABOUT THIS WINE: Mendoza is definitely a great place to grow grapes and make wine. Lots of sunshine, but long cool nights from high altitudes ensure the vines enjoy the best possible chance to produce fully ripe grapes. Characterful wines laden with rich fruit flavour are the inevitable result.
SERVING: Very good with lighter Thai and Malaysian curries.
