Limited Edition Drop Waist Dress
Perfect 'sensible' dress for my daughter
We had a family funeral to go to. This was a perfect compromise dress worn with flat black shoes and opaque tights but stylish enough to satisfy her and will be worn again with different tights and shoes. Quite short but not a problem on a leggy teenager!

Lovely for a younger petite lady! ;)
This is beautiful and 20 years ago I would have bought it and worn it every day! BUT, although I'm 51, petite and slim - it is far too young for me and mutton as lamb springs to mind as I pack it up to (very) sadly return :(I dont want to be sniggered at, so I will embrace my maturity and try a more 'quietly elegant' look from M&S - who very thoughtfully cater for all ages and personality types! ;)

It is a very good quality dress. The material is quite thick and drapes very well, it is lined. The look is slightly 20s or 30s style.
The dress moves with you in a nice way.
The only thing which I do not like is the zip at the back that spoils the whole thing as it is sewn on the outside - why? when zips on the sleeves are concealed and look much better. It looks quite shoddy.
The fit is very good or perfect when I have the dress on but putting it on and off is a problem. When I was trying it on in the shop I thought I'd have to call the assistant to help me take it off! I found a way by taking the sleeves off first and then stepping out of it, which is ok but not ideal. The material does not stretch and it is a tight fit around the arms area and the chest. It has to be for it to fit. I think that the zip should be longer, maybe running half way down the back, this would solve the problem.
So the zip - longer and concealed and I would give full marks.

not so teeny
Bought this dress in size 6 and I wear it with a belt to bring it up a little, it was actually a little long for me. However I am 5"0. Beautiful quality, lined and is gorgeous with belt, opaques and boots.
