ABOUT THIS WINE: A top quality German white from one of the country's most renowned wine makers Johannes Leitz whose family have been making wine since 1744. This is 100% Riesling - Germany's greatest grape variety - and comes from fifty year old vines near Rudesheim in the Rheingau region of Germany. The emphasis is on quality, from low yielding grapes grown in a single first growth vineyard. The quartz and slate soils result in a wine of exceptional minerality and purity.

SERVING: Serve lightly chilled. Delicious on its own or try with cheese dishes, cold meats, spicy Asian cuisine and stir-frys.
KEEPING: This wine is ready to drink now, but it will also keep well for a further two years if stored correctly. Once opened, finish in two days and keep in the fridge.
