bathroom cabinet
Yes, I recommend this
The cabinet is very nice but wish there had been covers for the holes in the open shelves. It also took quite a long time to put tpgether as the instruction were not very clear.

Absolute rubbish
No, I don't recommend this
This has to be the worst item of self assembly furniture I have every attempted to build. Dowels that simply fall into the holes. Screws that don't bite because there is a groove in the way which means that you are trying to screw them into fresh air. To be clear I am not a ham fisted dummy. I have an mechanical engineering degree and assembly bicycles for a hobby. This product is going to be repacked and returned. Next stop Ikea. Very disappointing that M&S are relinquishing their reputation for quality.

looks good but fiddly construction
Yes, I recommend this
Exactly what I was looking for but, for the price, the self assembly could have been better, difficult to get it square and generally a fiddly operation, took over an hour despite written instructions. Agree with other reviewers that, given its not cheap, there could have been plastic caps included to fill in the spare shelf holes which do look unsightly. However, now built it is a good use of space and looks smart - apart from the shelf holes.

Looks Good and matches my small Laska cabinet
Yes, I recommend this
This was harder to put together than I thought it would be, I did manage on my own in about 2 hours, the real problem I had was with the door hinge, which took me quite a while to get right. The hinge instructions could have been clearer, larger and more detailed to make it easier for those of us that have not put this kind of hinge together before. I am pleased now that it is complete and it looks very nice.

Difficult to assemble, had to pay joiner to complete. Instructions unclear. Some screws wrong size. Paintwork chips easily. Good size/accommodation.

The finish on the tallboy is excellent. >I got my grandaughter to help with assembling it and the complete task took us longer than I expected but it was worth it as it looks fantastic in my bathroom.

Good quality, very similar to one available at a luxury brand store but half the price.

good online purchase
Yes, I recommend this
Managed to put together on my own, despite it saying it needed two people. Quite easy to do. Would have like covers for unused shelf holes and would have like covers for exposed screws, which would have finished it off perfectly. Would have liked option for door opening left or right, but realise it would have probably cost more.. However good solid finished product.

Great for d.i.y

This tall boy was so simple to fix together, made easy with the help of fixings being put into separate bags labelled with corresponding letters to diagram.

Sturdy Unit
Yes, I recommend this
Well manufactured, all parts easily identified assembly time about right. Good to see that it is both dowelled and screwed together would be good if glue was recommended and supplied for assembly. Fixing position for the magnetic door catch could be made more obvious as it could be secured facing the wrong way.

Poor quality, heed low rating comments most true
No, I don't recommend this
Despite reading a few of the reviews complaining about the poor quality of this cabinet I brushed them off as the usual grumblers. However I was actually quite surprised at the poor quality of this product. Whilst easy to assemble the finishing is poor. The finished product looks good - like the picture, but your eye keeps coming back to all the little imperfections. Mainly the alignment of parts and the holes all over the inside. Issues: Pilot holes missing for the screws Cheap screws shear when you tighten them. Acute angle of holes making access difficult, causing shearing of screws again. Holes all over the unit for adjusting the shelves, should supply caps to fill holes. Srawer catches... drawer runners are pre-fitted. Underlines the issue with component alighnment. Overall not that impressed for an M&S product.

Pretty good product
Yes, I recommend this
The product arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. It looks good and is fairly good quality, the only thig we need to do to improve it's appearance is filling in all the little pilot holes that are left as other options for the shelf heights.

Laska Tall Boy
Yes, I recommend this
The Tall Boy was delivered as flat pack on the date expected. I assembled the flat pack on my own (although 2 people were recommended in the instructions) in just over an hour - so not too difficult. The cupboard is exactly what we wanted for our bathroom and looks very stylish. The capacity is excellent - everything we wanted to store fits with room to spare. We are delighted with this cupboard.

Great bathroom storage
Yes, I recommend this
Our ensuite was becoming very untidy with various products. We had basket storage but it was getting dusty and items were being moved about as we used the drawers. The M&S tallboy has instantly tidied our bathroom. Great buy.

Surprisingly low quality
No, I don't recommend this
The quality was questionable, not only in the materials but also in the joining of the components where I have seen far better design in the now defunct MFI products of the 1980s. Every possible expense has been spared in the manufacturing and two coats of paint are never used where one would do (as the surface is not obvious to a casual observer). Yet the product is not exactly bargain priced so there must be a very high mark up on it for M&S's benefit. With careful planning it is possible to position things so all poor finishes except shelf surfaces are concealed. The door is not reversible and only comes hinged LHS although a as competent DIYer I was able to reverse.

Poor quality from M&S
No, I don't recommend this
Fiddly to build although easy enough. construction method is poor. The Finnish is uneven, and there is nothing to fill the holes in that are not used, and being white they are very visible. We really expected better quality from M&S, and better value for money. I really could not recommend this product.
