Looking for a perfect fit? Measure up to see which of our three new jean styles will suit your shape

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3. Find a tape measure and follow the steps below to see which pair of body shape denim will flatter you.

1. Measure around your natural waist at the narrowest point.

2. Measure around your hips at the widest point.

3. Subtract your waist measurement from your hip measurement and use the difference to find your shape below.

Designed for a fuller waist and a slim hip. Fits comfortably on the waist all the way through to the leg.

"The jeans feel as if they have been made to measure: no more pinching and cutting-in at the waistband, no more buying a bigger size so they fit at the waist, but are then too baggy around the hips and bottom. My kids even commented that Mummy's wobbly bit (my muffin-top) has disappeared!"

Designed to follow the contours of an hourglass figure with a well defined waist and shapely legs.

"I was amazed after trying on a pair of jeans from the new M&S range. Not only did they fit perfectly and flatter my curvy frame, but I could have my super fit at a very reasonable price."

Clare Edgson, Marilyn jeans tester

Designed for a small waist and curvy hips with no gaping at the waist.

"I find it hard to find jeans that fit perfectly. I tested the Eva from the new body shape range. These jeans felt nice and were lovely and stretchy. They were good quality and finished well, and I liked the designs on the pockets."
