Nestled in the heart of East London's creative district, Spitalfields, our exciting new venture, M&S Studio @ Fashion Street, has thrown open its doors.
The space is the new home-away-from-home for the M&S design and digital teams to spend time away from the office and experiment with fresh ideas. "It's our test kitchen to develop new design, new patterns and new techniques," says M&S Style Director, Belinda Earl.
In addition, M&S is to provide an annual £50,000 bursary to support students on fashion courses with the aim of promoting British design talent.
Housed at the Glasgow Caledonian University's British School of Fashion premises on Fashion Street in East London, M&S Studio supports homegrown talent.
Launched during London Fashion Week, our new M&S Studio played host to the fashion press, VIP guests including three of the stars of our Britain's Leading Ladies campaign, Tracey Emin, Katie Piper and Helen Allen as well as the M&S Style Director, Belinda Earl and Chief Executive, Marc Bolland.
See our behind-the-scenes video with a glimpse of the new space as well as a peek at our Best of British collection, which launches in October.
