Will the recipient have to pay duty on my order?
Please note that products are sold on a DDU (Delivery Duty unpaid) basis. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation.
Recipients of deliveries made outside the European Union may have to pay import duty or formal customs entry. If customs duties or formal customs entry are required, the delivery may be delayed. Marks and Spencer cannot offer any assistance in these processes.
To help ensure that customs duties are not payable for deliveries outside the EU, is it advisable to keep your total basket value below the customs duty threshold of the destination country. Please check thresholds and duties before placing an order.
Which products qualify for international delivery?
Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Lingerie, Accessories, Jewellery and selected Home and Beauty products.
Please note that many countries have import restrictions on certain products or materials. Customers are responsible for checking with the local customs authorities before placing an order for international delivery. Marks & Spencer cannot offer any assistance in this process.

Food, Wine, Flowers, Gift Cards, Hampers, Furniture, Electrical, Lighting, Technology, Large Appliances, Made to Measure shirts and selected beauty products. See individual product details for more information.
Are DVDs available for international delivery?
Yes, they may be purchased for international delivery although not all delivery areas are covered. You should check compatibility with the recipient before placing an order. All our DVDs are Region 2: West Europe and Japan. All Blu-rays are Region B: Europe, Middle East and Australia.
All DVDs are age related by the British Board of Film Classification. Please note that UK DVD ratings may be different from other countries.
Is a signature needed for international delivery?
All international deliveries will need to be signed for on receipt. If no one is available to take receipt, a card will be left explaining where the item is and what to do next.
How can I track deliveries outside the UK?
Login in to 'My Account' to track the progress of your order.
If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, you can track your package by clicking the 'Track packages' link in 'My Account'. The delivery service and carrier for your package will be listed in 'My Account' and in your despatch confirmation email.
What happens if my order gets lost in the post?
Track your order as above. If your delivery hasn’t arrived 30 days after ordering, please contact us.

Are there multilingual versions of the website?
marksandspencer.com is a UK website and all information is in English. We cannot provide any customer information in any other languages.
Can I place an order for international delivery by phone or instore?
Currently, orders for international delivery can only be placed online.
Which currencies can I use to buy products?
marksandspencer.com is a UK website. We operate in pounds Sterling and cannot provide any guidance on currency conversion.
What exchange rate will I get if I purchase using a credit card obtained outside the UK?
The purchase on our website will be made in pounds Sterling. Your credit card provider or bank will determine the exchange rate. International credit card providers or banks will determine the exchange rate and may add an additional processing or administration charge in relation to such payment which international credit card holders will be liable to pay.
Can I claim VAT back?
We cannot refund VAT on goods purchased from outside the European Union. Why? Because even though the price might look the same, we have not included VAT on any of these goods.
TAKE VAT applied at the checkout is an internal price adjustment to reflect the temporary change in the UK VAT rate. It is not a VAT refund.

Can I change my order after I have placed it?
You can amend orders before they are despatched. You can make changes online by selecting ‘Change my order’ under ‘My Account’. Contact us if you need further help. If you amend your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and/or price you pay for the item. You will be charged the most recent selling price on the date you amend the order.
What happens if I enter the wrong address for a delivery outside the UK?
Our system will not check the address you enter, so it is important that you enter international delivery addresses carefully. If the postcode/zip code or any part of the address is entered incorrectly, delays or delivery failures may result.
