Indigo Collection Pure Cotton Borg-Lined Parka
Warm as Toast
This is the warmest coat I have ever had. The lining including the hood is covered with a rather nice thick grey insulation which goes well with the khaki colouring outside. I am a size 12 and I found the size 14 was a perfect fit and length for my 5ft8" frame with long arms. You certainly wouldn't need to wear too much underneath as it is so warm and cosy.
A brilliant coat for the winter with a large hood.

A really warm and modern jacket. It is really heavy and the fur lining will undoubtedly keep me warm. The hood is a little big but that lets you wear a hat under the hood.

Ticks all the Boxes
I wasn't supposed to be buying a coat this winter but when I saw this I succumbed. It looks just how a parka should look: nice sturdy quality matt fabric, simple but stylish design, perfect muted parka green, slight fish tail, capacious hood, & a good length.
It is also very practical with a lovely warm pile lining (too often parkas have rather thin linings), stout zip & fasteners, 4 decent size fastening pockets, inner draw string & of course washable.
My only hesitation was caused by the fur trim of the hood which I thought cheapened it a bit; but like others here I thought I would remove it. I'm having second thoughts however, & have started warming (no pun intended) to it.
It would have been absolutely perfect with a removable hood, but as it stands it is great value for money.
I too bought a size bigger to accommodate thick sweaters, though I suspect the weather would have to be very cold before you felt chilled in this coat.
