Having been let down by another High Street store we ordered this range as second choice, however when it arrived, after a very long delivery period, I was very happy with the way it fitted into the bedroom.
On delivery day I noticed a slight piece of damage on one corner of one of the units. The driver could not have been more courteous and apologetic, even offering to take it back, but having waited for so long for it I decided to talk to M&S. The guy I spoke to was extremely apologetic and we very quickly came to an arrangement which satisfied me.
Overall both units fit well in the bedroom, they are well made with a nice smooth finish, rather expensive for what they are, but we bought in a sale which made them rather more appealing.

I bought this for my son's room along with the wardrobe, really pleased with the quality and look. Delivery and assembly excellent, a really good service from M & S. With the 20% discount I'd say this is great value.

What a let down
Having purchased the double bed from the Hastings range, we were keen to complement it with matching drawer units and so I looked at a couple of the 6+3 Drawer chest as well the two drawer units for the bedside.
When the items arrived, the back of one of the drawers was damaged from the production process with a screw put in at an angle. This resulted in a lump of wood being broken off and exposed the screw.
I now have to wait for a week, before someone can come to my house (I don't know what distance, but it does not sit easily with the M&S Plan "A" to be environmentally friendly) and look for themselves to agree that the drawer needs to be replaced. I am not an unreasonable man but I do not see this as a customer centred system.
The problem should have been picked up at the manufactures by their quality control, but come on M&S you have the most long winded way of settling complaints. You can do better than this.
