Actually bought for myself as I currently wear a M&S cardigan I bought many years ago. This one is a bit long and a small fit so returned it. However if bought for purpose, a teenager for sachool. I would recommend although the fit is a bit smll

Very poor quality! Surprised ,as it was m&s!!! Cardi felt nasty acrylic not wool at all and was see through when held up,floppy ,no shape ,very nasty and cheap!!! Sent back at once very disappointed with this cardi

Perfect cardigan for school and more grown up than traditional cardigan as longer - comes to about hip level on my daughter who is 10, quite tall for her age and I bought 11-12 which fitted her perfectly. Only slight grumble is that on all three cardigans, the button holes are slightly too small so needs a little bit of prodding to get the buttons done and undone - a little wear and stretch has helped solve the problem. Quality brilliant. washed a few times and no bobbling.

Bought this cardigan as my daughter needed "smart," "modest," "black" clothes for a performance. She is a slim 11 year-old but I bought size 13-14 as I expect her to only wear it occasionally and I want it to last. The sleeves come up long but they are slim and this size fits her in a great boyfriend cardigan way so I'm assuming that for a thirteen year-old it would be really snug. She says the fabric is itchy but had no objections to wearing it over a long-sleeved tee-shirt. Haven't washed it yet.

Fir some reason my 16 year old daughter took against these. Must be some fashion thing.. Although they looked perfectly alright to me. Suggest checking with your teenager that they are ok before you send off for them.

This is a lovely cardigan, & although it is wool it is not thick & bulky, but nice & soft. It looks lovely on & is of a slightly longer length, which girls seem to like. The cable stitch down the front is a nice touch & takes away the plainness of most school cardigans,
