Conviviale Pinot Grigio 2010: A light and refreshing Pinot Grigio from the Veneto region of northern Italy. True to its origins, this delicately scented dry white wine displays aromas of wild herbs and white flowers, along with engaging flavours of ripe pear, apricot and a touch of spice.
ABOUT THIS WINE: Pinot Grigio has fast become Italy's most popular white grape variety and the key to its success undoubtedly lies in its subtle but refreshing flavours. The Conviviale Pinot Grigio is a superb example and was made for us by highly experienced local winemaker, Claudio Manera. Claudio selected top quality fruit from mature hillside vineyards in the heart of the Veneto region. The grapes were hand harvested at perfect maturity and treated with the utmost care to ensure maximum flavour and expression in the finished wine.

At Les Vignobles Foncalieu, state of the art technology is used in combination with a superb natural vine-growing climate to ensure ripe, fruity and flavoursome wines are produced year on year. ABOUT THIS WINE: Bodegas Navalón is a family run winery specialising in classic oak-aged Spanish reds. The wines are carefully assembled under the experienced eye of expert consultant Norrel Robertson MW - Scottish by birth and jokingly known locally as 'the flying Scotsman'. This wine was made from 30-year-old Tempranillo vines in stony soils, hand-picked and matured in French oak barrels.
