Not best purchase
Previous customer is correct to be concerned about the filling in the back cushions. We have had to renew the filling as despite following the M&S instructions, we ended up with a hollow in each back cushion which gave us backache. We are not overweight customers. This renewal was costly so maybe M&S need to look at the type of filling.

Replacing Our M&S Furniture
Having donated to charity our 13 year old M&S suite [which was still in very good condition], we took the risk of choosing replacement furniture from M&S on-line, as our local store had hardly any furniture on display.
Although we were generally pleased with what was delivered, we have slight reservations as to whether its quality is equal to the furniture it replaced. I refer in particular to the filling of the back cushion and whether it will keep its shape. Time will tell.

Very pleased with purchase
Having seen the matching sofa in our local store but unable to see the chair I looked at opinions on the web site. My only concern was from one customer who said it was the most uncomfortable chair he had ever sat in - all I can say is he was probably more than 5ft 2in tall! This is my height and I find it ideal, my feet comfortably touching the floor. Everything about the chair is compact for someone of my size. Initially the chair feels a little firm but soon moulds to your body and gives firm but not hard support. I have had several friends to visit, all roughly of the same heighth as myself and they all agree how comfortable it is.

disappointing
These armchairs are hard and uncomfortable to sit in,look large and boxy in the room.Last armchairs(not from M&S)replaced after 17years,not sure these will last as well.Couldn't afford the £100 return to depot fee-defeated the point of discount.Would definitely not have bought if seen first in shop.Won't buy furniture online again.Very disappointing.
