I bought this in August as it was on special offer and my old Braun was 25 years old and felt I needed something more up to date. Very sturdy and well built but I did find it difficult to get the blades out once they were in place, with the danger of cutting myself! Couldn't work out how to use e-disk for whisking egg whites and gave up with this. Also found that sometimes the lid would not engage, whether this was because blade was not properly in place, but after several attempts at taking out and refitting blade lid would still not lock. Finally, after only four months, whilst mixing flour and butter for bread, the machine cut out and would not restart. M&S have been fantastic and have arranged collection and will refund me.
