Dark Chocolate Plaque Wedding Cake
Chocolate wedding cake
This cake looks and tastes good. Downside - as reviewed by others it does not like to get warm. By the end of the meal it was leaning and pieces of chocolate were falling off. Unfortunately, it was so bad the bride and groom had to cut it for photographs without guests and it was whipped away to be put in a cool place before being cut up for guests.

I hate fruit cake, icing and marzipan so what better than a chocolate cake for our Autumn wedding. When we picked up the cake you could smell the chocolate through the boxes! Everyone loved it and commented on how gorgeous it was. And also wanted to say what excellent service we had from the assistant at the Sandhurst branch of M & S too.

Excellent for something a little bit different
We wanted a cake that didn't conform to the usual white with frut cake inside without spending a fortune. This cake was perfect. It looks a bit modern and is lovely and light but still rich and moist as your expect a good chocolate care to be. The leftovers lasted a good few days afterwards too so nothing went to waste.
We copied the photo and decorated it with soft red fruits which worked really well!

I so fell in love with this cake when I saw it first but if you see a pic of the cake when we are cutting it ,you feel sorry for me and it makes it feel so upset looking at the pic when the cake is bent from one side and it's about to fall down.It tasted good but after couple of hours it wasnt straight anymore.my wedding was in Aug 2011 and I bought this cake for 199 now it's gone up!why?!ooutstanding quality!?I don't think so besides the cake it's not as big as it looks on the pic,it's actually quite small and me having only 50 guests and serving the cake with ice cream only the top tier left over .
