The family concentrate on farming interesting and unusual grape varieties - Petite Sirah is renowned as a local speciality. The area's poor soils, warm summer days and cool nights give a naturally intense style; winemaker Chad Joseph matured the wine in American oak barrels over 12 months for added richness and roundness.
