Le Froglet Shiraz 2010This is a ripe, rich, smooth red wine. Expect gorgeous flavours of chocolate and blackcurrant, with subtle, warming, spicy depths and a soft finish.
ABOUT THIS WINE: The Shiraz grape - sometimes called Syrah - is a popular, fashionable and premium grape variety. This modern, appealing red is mostly Shiraz, but there are a few Grenache grapes in the mix - a blend of two grapes that work brilliantly together, as many French and Spanish wines prove. The fruit comes from the warm Languedoc region of southern France and the wine was aged in oak before bottling.
This wine has been sealed with a screw cap - our aim is to choose the most suitable closure for each wine.
SERVING: Serve at room temperature. The great thing about this wine is that it's soft and smooth enough to be enjoyed on its own, or you can pair it up with pasta and tomato sauces, cheesy pasta bakes, veggie or meat chillis, good cheeses and bread... or save it for the Sunday roast!
KEEPING: Crack this bottle open soon after purchase - it is meant to be enjoyed within 3 months. Once opened, finish in 2 or 3 days and keep the bottle sealed between servings. The screw cap makes it easy to reseal.
