Bad buy & they leak, read the other reviews I concur with the other 3 reviews, these shoes do leak, the soles do wear out extraordinarily quickly & they are a bad buy, the worst I have ever made at M& S 24 December 2012

not water proof The shoes sole on a wet weather is like a sponge. It absorbs all the water and shoes become completely wet together with your socks. The upper lather gets discolorated shows white marks and is bulging. Avoid buying these shoes by all means. 20 April 2012

NOT Waterproof - Bad buy I struggle to find shoes that fit having broad feet. However, these shoes fit perfect. Leather upper - leather sole, what more could I want for a wedding shoe. Wore them for the wedding - perfect. Super comfortable all day and all night. Went off on honeymoon to Milan and it rained the first day. Oh dear, feet soaked to the skin, shoes white tide lines, leather blistered and the toe area went grey. They soaked up the rain like a sponge. Absolutely gutted. If you want a shoe for the sunshine they are great, however, extremely inappropriate for UK conditions (and Italian). 30 October 2011
