ABOUT THIS WINE:
This premium West Coast red was created for us by the highly original and talented winemaker Randall Grahm, a champion of grape varieties from France's Rhône Valley. Here he has blended four traditional Southern French grapes - including Carignan and Mourverdre from vines over one hundred years old - to make an unusual and exciting red. The fruit came from San Joaquin, Central Coast and Mendocino areas of California and the wine was aged in French oak. To retain flavour and complexity this wine has not been filtered during production. This may result in a small harmless sediment forming over time at the bottle of the bottle. This wine has been sealed with a screw cap, our aim is to choose the most suitable closure for each wine.
SERVING:
Serve at room temperature. This wine makes a superb match for succulent roast or barbecued meats, especially lamb, duck and pork, or try it with roast Mediterranean vegetables and garlic, or with a fine cheeseboard.
