  This wine is an exceptionally well-balanced and concentrated Californian red, made from grapes grown in the Lodi region of the state, where the days are warm and dry, but cooled by breezes from the Pacific Ocean coming inland through the Sacramento river delta. The wine has been aged in oak, which adds a richer, slightly spicy note. The winemaker was Craig Rous
