Edwardian splendour
We purchased two single Castello beds for one of our guest rooms. They look very handsome indeed - and are perfect for our period house in the country. M&S delivery and assembly all without a hitch. Very pleased with the product and the service; now hoping to find an M&S double bed to suit the last guest room we need to furnish,

Rough Trade
I have just taken delivery of a pewter double Castello. I have a Castello single in black and this was excellent. Regrettably, the pewter version is poorly finished. The casting of the uprights is very rough and appears unfettled, There are also scratch marks which appear to be the result of packaging abrasion. I have complained to M@S and await the outcome. Well below what I expect for the money.

BRILLIANT BED
Excellent service from m & s. Arrived when they said they would, polite delivery men who laid down matting and wore protection on their feet! Built the bed in 20 mins. Bedstead is as described, it looks good quality . It is quite high and along with our mattress requires a small hop up into bed, I don't mind this though.
Would definitely recommend.

A decent bed at last
Excellent service from m&s as you'd expect. The delivery was well organised and we were fully informed. The installation team were professional and were done in no time. Having been used to self assembly in the past it was very refreshing to have someone do it for you!
The bed itself is great. Very solid and sturdy and looks a statement piece. They didn't have a sample in store so was holding my breath on the colour but I'm very pleased. The black is more of a sheen than a high gloss. The brass is burnished in places so it's not 'brassy'. Overall it's understated and chic. The bed is big and high so could overwhelm a smaller room but it suits ours perfectly. We bought this as a replacement for a cheap metal bed that squeaked and which the support legs buckled. We can see the difference in the quality by spending more and that as the frame is much stronger, support legs are not needed. We had thought we'd need to replace our mattress but have decided we don't need to due to the new bed.
