A modern, fruit-driven Rioja with just a hint of creamy oak. Ripe bright black cherry flavours are rounded off with a touch of American oak and complemented by a nip of tannin in this attractive, berry scented red. Their success has largely been down to experience, and having the foresight to employ a young female winemaker, Gloria Molinet, who had trained in South Africa as well as Spain. Gloria brought with her some invaluable New World know-how which has helped the bodega to produce traditional wines but with clean, modern flavours.
