Burra Brook Sauvignon Blanc 2012 - Case of 6
fantastic white wine!
Totally disagree with other reviewer! This is the most enjoyable white wine I have ever tasted .The gooseberry flavours really come through. It has sold out and that says it all!

When I bought this wine, I had huge expectations. I know that this wine is popular so I did not hesitate in buying it. When I took the first sniff, I was met with a pleasant cucumber aroma, mixed tangibly with the sweet delicate scent of peaches. However, when I went for the first sip, I was met with a huge disappointment. The wine has no real depth to it, there was practically no taste to it. It was watery, weak and had little worth to it.
Perhaps the one redeeming quality to it is that it is inexpensive. This does little to enhance the experience of the wine. Overall, I would sincerely not recommend this wine to someone who has a more sophisticated pallet. However, all is not lost with Burra Brook, their Cabernet Sauvignon retains a lot more class and sophistication, an altogether much more well rounded wine.
