Looks a bit frail.
Not sure how long all the plastic will last. More use of metal would have enhansed the appearance and probably value. Would probably recommend but with a warning.

Good Purchase
They do all I need them to do as a good stylish quality pair of reading glasses. Snug fit (which I like) for a relatively 5ft 8ins smallish man. They may though be a bit too tight if you were a large person with a wide head.

These work and look better than average
Expensive for plastic reading glasses. However, they look quite good/trendy, the lack of lower rim means you don't have to get used to a dark lower rim and my first pair have outlasted 2 cheaper, thicker rivals from M&S bought at the same time - although this pair were handled more carefully, being twice the price. The plastic lenses are small and light. I didn't like this at first but now find this a distinct advantage:
1. They don't slide down your nose but you can place them there if you like (handy when working outside & you mainly want to look over the top of them)
2. They are small, light and easy to carry & fit almost all hard & soft cases.
3. The hinges are holding up - less weight to deal with I suppose.
I have a wide head and these fit OK but are a little small. I now have 2 pairs of these in different strengths (my prescription changed). Came in a red bag (the cheaper models come in a grey bag).
Packed extravagantly in a new box big enough to take dozens of pairs of specs.

Black Half Frame Reading Glasses
I bought two pairs of these glasses on-line which was a bad mistake. The glasses were too small and the arms were too short, these are more suited to the female gender. This is one item that you must "try before you buy". However I took them back to my local M&S and a refund was given without any problems.
