Great Chair I had beenn looking around for a chair for a while, but all the other winged chairs were very traditional. This chair has got enough style to fit into a modern house and is very comfortable with a high back. The leather is lovely and the colour (teak) is soft and mellow. 26 June 2012

unexpectedly uncomfortable!! We received 2 of these chairs without being able to test them first at either Gemini of Liverpool stores. The look was fantastic and exactly what we wanted, the colour and upholstery were excellent, turquoise Bowen Chenille, beautiful. Unfortunately the chairs have not been anywhere near as comfortable as we expected them to be. The chair cushions were overfilled to a ridiculous level making them around 2inches higher than their stated height in the brochure and even after 3 weeks of being sat in they have not reduced much. We have Fenton sofas which are Soooooo comfortable and expected the same of these chairs but sufffice to say we have been disappointed. The Bates is not a chair you can sink in to and relax ! 08 April 2012
