Lovely purchase
Extremely comfortable, light weight, and soft. Fit very well. Easy to wash and dry. Lovely to sleep in, or use around the house. If it wasn't for that annoying single button fly, these could be worn in the garden too, or on the beach. They should be in more colours, and cheaper. Though luxurious, they cost more than cotton only or jersey shorts.

For the gym
my husband got two pairs for Christmas for the gym, they need ironing after washing. They are comfortable and he's not complained about them, so they must be ok
