Apple Tree Flat Shiraz - Case of 6

Sorry, this item is no longer available

A ruby Aussie Shiraz with a bright, blackberry and plum nose, lifted by a light, floral violet note. This wine offers a juicy yet richly-textured palate and its refreshing fruit flavours persist to the finish.

Mudgee (Aboriginal for 'Nest in the Hills') is one of Australia's oldest wine regions and the birthplace of Australian chardonnay. Temperatures during the growing season in Mudgee are mild, with conditions ideal to create wines of great depth and character. Winemaker and vineyard owner Peter Logan matured a small portion (15%) of this cuvée in French hogshead oak barrels for 12 months, to add structure and complexity through integrated oak flavours.
