• ABOUT THIS WINE:
  Amarone della Valpolicella is a classic Italian wine, made in the north east of Italy with grapes that have been dried before pressing to make their juice extra-concentrated. The result is very ripe and smooth red with complex and exquisite character. For this fine example winemaker Carlo Speri had harvested the grapes from a single estate in the Veneto and made the wine in a traditionally rich style.

KEEPING: This wine is ready to drink now but fine Amarone della Valpolocella ages well and it will continue to improve and take on more mellow flavours for up to 3 years if it is stored correctly. Once opened, this wine will remain in good condition for up to 3 days if the bottle is resealed and kept in a cool, dark place.
