Airflex™ Leather Lace Up Toe Cap Shoes
I have found these shoes to be about the most comfortable I have worn, I do a fair bit of walking during the day at work and they are really comfy. They are a good quality soft leather, although the sole does seem to be wearing out and I've only had them about 12 months, but I would definitely but another pair.

Nice style, poor quality
I like these shoes in terms of style and comfort, but the problem is the quality. I have now had 4 pairs in under a year of exactly this same shoe and in each case exactly the same problem has occurred - the Airflex sole, which works well to give the shoe its comfort, splits across the bottom and you get wet feet in the rain. Eventually even in dry weather the split becomes so wide the shoes are unwearable. This is very sad as M&S have excellent quality in shirts, trousers, socks and underwear and I will continue to buy those by I no longer trust the brand on shoes (or at least their Airflex range).

Superb - highly recommended
These are excellent shoes. For somebody who has suffered sporting injuries over the years, it is important to have a comfortable and supportive pair of shoes. This can be a challenging criteria to match as far as office work shoes go. Most formal shoes have a hard heel and sole and become very uncomfortable after a short period of time, especially when walking any distance.
These shoes, however, tick all boxes. They are extremely comfortable and have a much more forgiving sole than traditional smart shoes, but are still very supportive. I can walk miles in them w/o wanting to kick them off and put on some trainers. They look good and lace up well. Seem to be wearing in well - good durability. They run large - I wear a UK10/9.5 depending on the brand but took a 9 in these shoes.
Bottom line: excellent shoes, they do exactly what they say in being a more comfortable formal shoe, with a sole performing similar to a sports shoe. I do hope M&S never discontinue this model.

Everything about these shoes looks and feels cheap, which is a disgrace given the price tag. They have a dull, fake appearance and resemble factory safety shoes. It wouldn't be possible for them to be any further away from being "smart and stylish". Avoid.
