4 Pairs of Lambswool Blend Assorted Socks

I bought two sets last Nov, have worn the grey socks for work without problems, but my job is clinical without much walking and I probably have only won them four or five times at most ( I have quite a lot of socks). Today for the first time I wore one of the striped socks, walked for four hours in a good quality pair of shoes, that are properly worn in, and now have a hole at the back of the heel of one of the socks. I have not had this problem with other socks when wearing the same shoes over the years. Clearly not fit for purpose. I will not be buying M&S Lambswool Blend again, in this or any other set of the same quality blend. Its a shame as I normally am pleased with M&S clothing on the whole, the quality is usually more than acceptable and better value for money that some other stores. For this reason, I have had no hesitation with buying on-line (though on this occasion I bought the sock in one their stores).

The warmest socks with wool are from Marks and Spencer's. Thank you for still running socks with wool.

I purchased these socks for my 23 year old son. He was well impressed with them, particularly how soft they were. As yet, they haven't been washed so can't comment on the appearance of them after time.
