Who does M & S use as a standard size for shirts? You could have got two of me inside them!! Huge body size and enormous sleeve width that would only fit a weightlifters arms. As per usual, all the slimfit shirts in my collar size were out of stock!
Refund obtained from store.

This is the second year running I have bought these for my son for school. They are great value for money and 6 shirts lasted the whole school year. They wash, tumble dry and iron easily with no shrinkage. My only slight criticism is that they come up quite big. I should have ordered the slim fit as they are too big around the body for a 16 year old but that is my own fault as these are in the Mens section of M & S and my son does not yet have a mans build despite being tall and broad shouldered.

The combination that we always expect, and normally find at M&S: good quality at a reasonable price.

Good quality, basic white shirts. Wear well, wash well, suitable for work or school at not too bad a price.
I bought these for my son for school, because the largest size boys school shirts just aren't quite long enough. These mens shirts do cost 50% more, but are slightly better quality than the boys; there's VAT added, of course! Very annoying when you have a 6ft 2 inch tall 14 year old who's had to wear mens clothing for the last couple of years, but the VAT isn't M&S's fault I guess!
I'm not too sure the slighty better quality & VAT totally justifies the extra 50% cost, but these are the best I've found for the price, so I'm happy to keep buying them, and I would recommend them for a basic white shirt for men or older boys.
