2 Piece Cotton Rich Denim Skirt & Spotted Tights Set

Like the other consumers, I bought it expecting the adjustable waistband as stated. My daughter is a slim build but tall so we rely on being able to pull the waist in on most of her clothes. It will be at least another year before it will stay up! It is huge.

Does not have an adjustable waistband as described so having to return.

The waist band was way too bit. It had a label on it saying adjustable. No it was not. I did solve the problem by stitching a piece of elastic about three inches at each side on inside to take away the fullness. This works a treat.

I have just made the same mistake as the other reviewers. Bought for my daughter (who is slim build) thinking I'd be able to adjust the waist as the label says. It doesn't adjust! Now I have to go to the trouble of returning it to the shop for a refund. M&S quality control is once again very poor! And there has clearly been no response to the other comments. M&S quality has been going downhill for years in my opinion.

Lovely skirt and tight set, good quality as always from m & s. Bought because it said it had an adjustable waist which it doesnt (the description and label has now been updated to remove this info) Shame not adjustable because had to return as way too big for my 2 1/2 year old.

Where is the adjustable waistband?. Would never have bought for granddaughter as the waist is very large for age -fit. The label has been removed and skirt worn. What is M and S going to do about this product to reimburse the customer ? Very bad sizing as the skirt is baggy, not worth buying.

There is no adjustable waistband and the waist is way too big. Very annoyed that it was incorrectly described as I would never have bought it! I see that it had been returned by a previous customer as tights were stuffed back in the cardboard and taped up, probably for the same reason!Very poor customer service M & S.

I have made Marks and Spencer's aware both in store and via email to customer service that this product is faulty. As the other review says, the skirt is clearly labelled that it has an adjustable waistband but it does not! As the adjustable waist band is missing, the skirt is huge around the waist and falls down. I can't believe this product has not been removed from sale.

The positives: being M&S, it's a good quality skirt - the tights particularly are lovely, soft and a good thickness. The negatives: The label on the front of this skirt clearly states it has an adjustable waistband, Having two tall but quite slim kids, this seemed ideal. However, when I looked at them this morning, there was absolutely nothing adjustable about the skirts. By this point, it was too late, as they had to wear something green for a charity non-uniform day, so I had to mess about taking the skirts in. This meant that the skirts bunched out and lost their lovely shape. Even the age 5-6 skirt for my 6-year-old daughter was too wide on the waist. Had I known all of this, I wouldn't have bothered buying them in the first place! I would recommend this only if you don't mind taking the waists in - or maybe buy a couple of sizes down if you don't mind the skirts being a bit shorter.
