2 Pair Pack Thermal Cable Ankle High Socks

I've been buying M&S women's thermal socks for years, so was very surprised when these socks started to wear prematurely. The elastic in the top of the socks went first causing the socks to become loose around the tops. The socks began to bobble all over after only a few washes. I'd bought two packs of these socks, so have been left with four pairs of unsightly & barely wearable ones. I bought them late Oct/early Nov & unfortunately threw the receipt away. I also bought two packs of boot socks that have worn similarly but I'll leave a review for those too. Not a happy customer!

I have been buying this type of socks for a few years now,However this year I have brought quite a few pairs but I have been very disappointed with the fit as they have all been to big so much so that they just buckle up under the foot making them only fit for one thing and that was to give them to charity .A complete waste of money on my side but not for you .Please M&S buy some decent socks in so that they can been worn without giving them away as soon as they have been worse once .

these socks keep my feet toasty and warm

I wanted warm socks that come a bit further up the leg than a normal ankle sock to wear with ankle boots. These looked perfect. The socks are packaged so that you see the top sock and the length looked good. You can't see much of the underneath pair of socks except the foot bit to see the colour. When you open the packaging the second pair is a full 3 inches shorter in length than the top pair. I thought this must be a mistake so opened the second pack I had bought and found it exactly the same! I've already got a drawer full of socks that are not quite long enough to wear comfortably with ankle boots. I feel misled. I reasonably assumed that both pairs in a pack will be of the same style and size and there is nothing on the packaging to suggest otherwise. Top pair are great second pair are not. Waste of money.
