Harder to iron than I imagined

I bought these shirts for my small to average size twins. The collars were so small we could not do them up despite the shirts being generously sized otherwise.

Great quality product. Cotton so good if you child gets hot easily.

My lad is very comfortable in these shirts. Naturally I iron them after each wash as they are proper cotton. I think they are very smart and still look smart after a days rough and tumble. For sure cotton will crease a little but certainly they still look smart. I have managed to get stains out of them too which I was very pleased about. The collar is too tight for my slim boy. This meant the neck velcro remained undone and the hooks started to pull threads on his tie. I unpicked/removed the hook velcro so the collar remains undone, so solved the problem, but this creates a slightly more relaxed look to his uniform.

What a nightmare to iron.. unless you want the kids to look like they slept in their shirts only way to get them half decent is to iron them wet.. have never bought before & wont be buying again. sorry.

I bought these for my super sensitive skinned son, whose started school this year. Good fit and wash well. They do need a iron, but a hot iron has them looking good in no time. A few minor points, I've only given them 4 for quality as, I thought the velcro top button was a really good idea, but it's not that sticky - or maybe the coller is a bit on the small side as it doesn't stay 'stuck' for long. The only other issue is that they never have enough in stock, I bought a pack in the summer months to check the post-wash quality (I should have known M&S would be fine) went to buy another pack and there wasn't any left in stock until mid September.

Material creases very easily, if I had known would not have purchased I have now put these to the bottem of the pile and have re ordered what I normally order (which were out of stock at the time) wish I had waited

Shirts are brilliant quality as ever. However I had to order them on the internet as I could never find 100% cotton in any M&S store - in fact the packaging on shirts is so lacking in information I could never tell what was what. Also these shirts come in an inordinate amount of packaging material - clips, 2 lots of plastic on the collars, cardboard inner, plastic bag, I thought we were trying to get away from that?

Pleased I can buy fairtrade shirts because I need to buy them anyway so it's good to have this option.
