100 Denier Merino Wool Tights

I've been wearing these tights over the last 3 winters. The big disappointment I had was that after a couple wears, my toes would always go through the foot. Fortunately this winter the 3 pairs I've had did not have this issue so the quality has improved. They are light but warm and great by themselves under a skirt or on a very cold day under jeans or a pair of full merino tights.

This is now the 3rd pair of these tights I've bought as they're so comfy and look great. I really like the texture of them and they're a great half way house been opaque and wooly tights. They wash perfectly and seem snag resistant...or maybe I've just been lucky! Well worth the extra money.

Had so many pairs from other shops that fall down, shrink in wash, don't come upto waist that these were a pleasant surprise. I was looking for some wool and these are warm and comfortable with their Merino wool blend.

I always buy warm winter tights from M&S. Love these, good fit (L) for a 5'7' slim lady!!

Wonderful for keeping my legs warm and they wash well but are a little itchy.

Like some other reviewers, I found these got a hole in the toe after the first day's wear. Still, they are so comfortable (not pinching around the waist and not sagging and drooping) and warm I'm going to keep them. They look really nice too - not too thick and wooly but really warm. Pity about the rather fragile fabric... I do hope they last for a bit after I sew up the hole as they weren't cheap.

Kept me very warm over a biting cold weekend in Vienna in December.

These are my absolute favourite tights in the world. They are so warm but at the same time not woolly looking, and don't fall down after half an hour. Please, please bring back the other colours! After 2 years my carbon pair have a hole in leg ( caused by my stupidity) and my blue ones have holes in the toes, which are fixable, but I would love new ones!

Warm though not as opaque as other 100 denier M&S tights. Unfortunately, developed a hole in the toe on the second wearing. I have other M&S tights which are still going strong one year on so I'm disapointedin the durability of these.

I love the tights. The last few sets I purchased, was when I was in Scotland about 18 years ago. Those tights are in great shape still and I wear them all the time. I do recommend the tights to my friends (and they have bought them). The tights you get here in the states are so inferior. They run you can not stich them up and rarely last more than one or two wearings. Even with the shipping they are worth every dollar to get them here in the states. I wish you would open stores over here in the USA. The closest Marks and Spencer's to me was in Tornado Canada and that store closed.
