These are great, just the right amount of control and the comfort pads in the feet are perfect for a night dancing in heels!!

I was hoping these tights would be fantastic, but the cushion on the ball of the foot moves too far back. It can also make shoes feel small. Waistband didn't seem as good as normal either.

i almost didn't get these as other review was negative, but I am glad I did as I have to disagree. I didn't find them too tight at all. If you buy a "shaping" pair I would think you'd expect them to be snug. I didn't find them uncomfortable, but on the flip side they only smoothed me out a little. I found the padding on the ball of the foot a bit odd at first but it does work and after a long day in heels I definitely felt they'd made me more comfortable. The little stitch between the first two toes helps keep the pads in place a bit but I did find one slipped a little once or twice.

I don't consider myself particularly fat but I have to buy a Large in M&S tights. These were extremely difficult to pull on as the bodyshaper top was so tight. The overall stretchiness was quite good but looked and felt twisted once on. The bodyshaper top held me in and looked smooth but at the cost of comfort - I certainly couldn't wear them for any length of time. The most ridiculous thing was the pads for the balls of the foot - they weren't in quite the right place for a start, and when I put shoes on it made the shoes feel very tight. There was also some stitching between the big and second toes which felt odd and slightly cut off the circulation. There seems no point to this feature - it wasn't to help attach the pad as this was simply stuck on. I had to throw these tights straight in the bin - £6 down the drain.
